I Let You In 


When I first saw the trailer for Talk to Me, it didn’t really grab my attention, just another movie about teenagers and possessions, something I don’t find scary at all.  So when I saw that this movie was streaming, I decided to check it out and I’m glad I did.  Sometimes, trailers don’t do a good job of promoting a movie   Trailers also sometimes have elderly people and folks from the South  

So when I saw that this movie was streaming, I decided to check it out and I’m glad I did. This movie deals with a cursed relic that when you hold it and say some words you’re able to see spirits or ghosties. Dumb teenagers recorded on Snapchat until they all want to have a turn. What I enjoyed about this movie was that it was not predictable and I really did not know where it was going at times. There were a couple jump scares that got me. I would recommend this movie to any of you kids that are looking for a cute spooky movie this season.

  You don't want no smoke with the BX. As soon as I heard a movie called Vampires Vs the Bronx was being released I was all in for two reasons.  First, it is reminiscent of kid centric horror movie sub-genre of the 1980's such as The Monster Squad, The Lost Boys and even The Goonies and guess what?  I am there for it.  Secondly, I am Bodega Hive and will support The Kid Mero to keep the brand strong.  Ah ah ah!  This movie ended up being a delightfully entertaining experience that were it not for some profanity, would be fun for the whole family.  If you trust your 4 year old to hear the occasional "F" and "S" words without repeating it in pre-school then you good fam.   The story deals with a lot of businesses in the Bronx being bought out by a company that goes by the name of Murnau Properties.  Now, when I saw this, it took me out of the movie a little because it was too on the nose.  As a reminder from our first screening, (reaction which can be found h

Tommy Lee Wallace and Universal meet to discuss continuing the legacy started by John Carpenter’s Halloween. TLW: So I got this idea for a movie right? UNI: Absolutely, Halloween was one of the biggest hits to date, people really seem to like horror movies and being scared, how do you plan to continue and improve this franchise? TLW: Well, we can call it Halloween 3 I guess UNI: So how are you bringing Michael Myers back to life after Halloween 2? TLW: Oh, well he’s going to play a reduced role in this one and we are going to focus more on the public. UNI: Interesting. So this will be from the perspective of Laurie and Dr. Loomis. Did we get Jamie Lee Curtis back? TLW: Haha well this is taking place in a different town with different people. The full title is called: Halloween III Season of the Witch. Monster Vs Monster      It's already Halloween time over here and Universal Halloween Horror Nights  has a;ready announced they're doing a Stranger Things maze again this year, along with a Holidayz in Hell maze.  It's spelled wrong so that means it's gotta be scary.  For 2018 they had a similar scare zone with twisted holiday things as monsters, I thought it was just ok. I hate Easter and I have always hated Uncle Sam, screw that guy I don't have any uncles that look like that.         Today it was announced that they are having a Frankenstein Vs the WolfMan maze and while this is exciting, Universal has let classic horror fans down one too many times, so we are weary.
